1995: Costa Rica

Patti organized this trip to Costa Rica, and did a really fine job. I started out slow, though: doing the money conversion in my head on the run, I tipped a kid about $10.00 to carry our bag 10 feet to a taxi.  We spent the first night just outside San Jose, at Posada de la Montana, and took a walk through the surrounding countryside the next morning.
