I picked up Patti at the airport in Albuquerque (she left Reggie with Nancy, Scott's wife Joelene's mother.) The crew rented a cabin in Red River (which seemed to be almost entirely populated by vacationing Texans.) It was very nice, except our bed seemed to be tilted a bit, and I fell (or, more likely, Patti pushed me) out of bed one night. I was quite asleep, and for about 250 milliseconds had one of those wonderful flying dreams, then hit the deck. No injuries. I successfully avoided the downhill slopes, but did get some cross country skiing in. Things slowed down when one of Patti's classmates broke her shoulder cross county skiing, crashed into the woods. They drugged her up and managed to drive back to Arkansas without too much trouble, except for a case of food poisoning.
