September 2013: Peru
Patti and I had enjoyed our trip to Ecuador so much, particularly the Napo Wildlife Center at the headwaters of the Amazon, that this year we signed up for another jungle trip, plus a visit to Machu Picchu, this time with Wildland Adventures here in Seattle. The flight down wasn't quite the ordeal we expected, from Seattle to Los Angeles to Lima (aboard a brand new Boeing 787) to Cusco.
