After coming down off the volcano in the rain, we headed back to Quito, and a flight the next day out to the Galápagos.  Even though it was still the rainy season there, we lucked out with a week of sunny weather.  Our first two nights were spent on Isla San Cristóbal, one of the easternmost islands, and therefore the oldest.
