The Galapagos Islands.  We flew from Quito (1000 miles to the east) to Isla San Cristobal for two nights.  Then by boat west to Isla Santa Cruz for one night.  By boat further west to Isla Isabela for three nights.  On the last morning we took a boat back to Isla Santa Cruz and an airplane to Quito.
