Spring 1998: Florida and the Dry Tortugas

This trip was to Florida, flying into Orlando. The original plan was to be there in time for a space shuttle launch, but that got postponed after we got the airline tickets. So it was off camping and picture taking and bird watching. First night was spent at Lake Kissimee State Park (photo above), very pretty with a great campsite in the woods and Sandhill Cranes and Florida Scrub Jays.
