June 2014: Eastern Oregon

I had been anticipating a trip into Montana, looking at birds and non-avian dinosaurs (various dinosaur museums), but car repairs shortened the amount of time available before I had to be home for the all-important start of the World Cup, so I headed off for a few days camping around one of my favorite spots, Eastern Oregon.  Patti, just back from Barcelona, wasn't up for the camping and crazy hours, so I was by myself.  Here's a stream in the Blue Mountains, where I spent the night after a leisurely drive across Washington.
